This site describes new local collaborative learning opportunities for Diplomas and Vocational Qualifications for 14-16 year olds. All courses have local progression pathways at 16+. There is a new national vision for 14-19 education. Local schools, colleges, training providers and employers are working together in a partnership, known locally as a Learning Community, to provide young people in the area with more opportunities to study nationally accredited work related qualifications in addition to the normal school curriculum.
